AI権利章典（AIBill of Rights）は、現在米国科学技術政策局によって策定の途中にあるAIについてのルールブックと言えます。この2022年10月に公開された草案は、米国市民の保護を主眼としたAI利用の規範として、安全性と効果性の担保、アルゴリズムによる差別防止、データプライバシーの保護、説明責任の明確化、人間が代替する際の問題についての5つのポイントに触れています。さらに、AI技術のセキュリティ面に焦点を当てた基準の設定も、米国国立標準技術研究所（NIST）の方針として推進されているという話です。
