経営システム、あるいは経営の核となるバックボーンシステムとは、経営の基盤を構築するメカニズムで、主にマネジメント要素とガバナンス要素の二つの面から構成されます。マネジメント面では、人材のマネジメント、指揮統制体系、業績評価、経営戦略機能などが含まれます。一方、ガバナンス面では、意思決定のフレームワーク、会議やその他のコミュニケーションツール、権限の区分け、各種の法令・規定の整備などを対象とします。’
