最下位ビットとも呼ばれるLeast Significant Bit (LSB)は、二進法において最も小さい数値を指すビットです。これは、二進法の右端の値に対応しています。ステガノグラフィという、あるメッセージを他のメッセージ内に隠す技術において、LSBは画像ファイルにメッセージを秘匿する一つの方法となります。具体的には、画像の各ピクセルのLSBに情報を挿入することで、誰からも検出されずに情報を転送することができます。’
