サンドボックス（Sandbox）とは、不正な操作を防ぐためのサイバーセキュリティのテクノロジーで、外部からのプログラムを一般ユーザーの領域とは隔離された保護された仮想空間で運用するものです。外部プログラムはこれにより、他のプログラムやデータの操作が不可能な状況で実施され、仮にマルウェアに感染させる試みがあっても、システム全体への影響を阻止することが可能となります。
