分岐網羅（branch coverage）について説明します。これはホワイトボックステストにおける網羅度の基準の一つで、プログラム内の全てのインストラクションと分岐を対象にテストを行います。同じく用いられる他の基準は以下の通りです。
まず、命令網羅（C0）：これはプログラム内の全てのインストラクションを少なくとも一度はテストする基準です。
また、条件網羅（C2）：これは条件分岐における全ての真偽のパターンを試験する基準です。’
