センターポンチとは

「センターポンチ」とは、穴開け作業時にドリルの先端がズレないように、予定地に凹みを作ることで位置を確定する工具です。ペン状で尖端が金属製で、決められた位置を明確に示す目印として利用されます。その特性上、炎や熱に影響されずに見えることから、金属を溶断する際の目標を示す罫書きにも活用されます。
