mixiとは

日本の企業、株式会社ミクシィが展開するソーシャルネットワーキングサービス（SNS）です。2004年2月のサービススタートから2011年4月までに、既に3900万以上のIDを発行するなど、日本国内のSNSとしては最も利用者数が多いという実績を持っています。このSNSは、「マイミク」と称される友達同士の交流がその主な機能で、サービス設立初期には既存の利用者からの招待が必要だったものの、現今では会員登録だけで自由に利用、閲覧できます。
