曲げとは

曲げというのは、板状の素材を一定の形状にまげる加工技術のことを指します。その中で特に代表的な方法はL型に曲げ上げる折り曲げ加工や、R型に曲げる加工となります。R型に曲げる際、最終的な形状をきちんと出すのは難易度があるため、手元に留めておける分だけ「掴みしろ」という形で余分に切断することがあります。さらに、あらかじめ最後の形に削り取ってしまうと曲げることが難しくなる事から、溶断で溝を設けた後、曲げ加工を行い、その後で必要な部分をクライアントが追加で切断するという手法もあります。
