MATA攻撃とは

「MATA攻撃」とは、マルウェアあるいはバックドアのフレームワーク、MATAを活用した攻撃のことを指します。MATAは、マルチ機能性を持つマルウェアフレームワークで、Kasperskyによってその存在が初めて明らかにされました。Windows、Linux、macOSなど、幅広いOSに対応しているだけでなく、さまざまな操作を可能とし、例えば必要なツールのロードやプロキシサーバーの生成、ファイルの改ざん、DLLファイルのインジェクトなどを行います。プラグインを用いてコマンドを実行することも可能です。
このフレームワークは何度も更新を重ねており、2023年の10月には、東欧のエネルギー業界を対象にした攻撃に使用されたと報告されています。
