量子コンピューティングとは

量子コンピューティングとは、量子もつれや重ね合わせという量子力学の特性を利用した技術のことを指しています。この技術が具現化される日が来れば、今までには不可能だった計算処理能力や問題の解決能力が手に入るとされています。しかしサイバーセキュリティの分野では、量子コンピューティングにより現行の暗号が役立たずになる可能性があるため、米国の政府機関では、それに対応するための法律案が2022年から審議の段階に入っています。’
