XLLファイルとは

XLLは、Excelのアドオンファイルであり、DLLファイルとしてエクセルにより呼び出されます。これらのファイルはCやC++で作られ、Excelの機能を強化するために用いられますが、その一方で、攻撃者による悪用も増えています。

近年では、フィッシング攻撃で悪意あるOfficeドキュメントが多用されるようになったことで、Microsoftは、付属するOfficeファイルのVBAマクロを基本的に無効にする設定を導入しました。しかし攻撃者たちは、このセキュリティ対策をすり抜けるために、LNKファイル、ISOファイル、更にはXLLファイル等を添付ファイルとして使用するようになりました。’
