角算定’は、鋼板の重量を算出する方法の一つで、正方形や長方形といった四角形以外の形状に対して使用されます。その具体的な計算方法は、求める形状が最も小さい四角形に収まるように考え、その四角形の板の重量を基に計算を行います。この用語は、スクラップ金属の引き取りからの割引を算出しない事を指す際や、切断時の労働費を含まない事を示す際にも使われます。
