“Gate.io（通称：ゲート、またはゲートアイオー）は、2013年の設立以来、中国の拠点から世界へと仮想通貨の取引を行ってきた取引所です。様々な種類の仮想通貨に対応している他、NFT関連サービスも提供するなど、その取り扱いは多岐にわたります。

ところが、その一方でゲートアイオーは、過去に北朝鮮由来とも見られるハッカーから仮想通貨の窃取を受けた経験もあります。さらに2022年には、Twitterアカウントが乗っ取られ、偽のプレゼントキャンペーンのツイートが公開されたという事態にも見舞われました。

仮想通貨やDe-Fiは、その性質上、北朝鮮を皮切りに様々な脅威によるサイバー攻撃の対象となります。専門家は、これらのデジタルアセットを保有・取引する人々に対して警戒心を呼び掛けています。”
