「差し金」とは、ステンレス、鋼、真鍮などの金属製品を用いて作られ、目盛りがつけられた測定工具の一つであり、主に長さや直角の計測や勾配の取得に使われます。L字型の形状をしており、長い辺と短い辺の両方に外側と内側に目盛りが施されています。「指矩」とも表記され、他に「まがりかね」、「かねじゃく」、「指金」、「差金」、「曲尺」などとも呼ばれています。
