積載率とは

「積載率」というのは、輸送セクターにおける効率性を評価するための指標の一つであり、車両の最大積載可能重量と、現に積み込まれた貨物重量との比を示すものです。値が大きいほど、その輸送作業は効率的に行われていると評価されます。

ただし、100％積載率を達成したとしても、配達が終了しリターンする際には貨物がなければ積載率は下がってしまいます。ゆえに、全体の輸送プロセスを円滑に管理するためには、平均積載率を参照することが一般的です。

積載率は、次の数式により割り出すことが可能です。
【積載率の計算方法】
積載率（％）＝積載重量 ÷ 最大積載重量 × 100

参考例として、ある車両の最大積載重量が4tで、これに対し3tの荷物を運んだケースを考えてみます。この場合、積載率はちょうど75%となります。
