「半導体や電子部品の電子商取引制度の統一と、その規格化を目指して、2005年にECALS委員会とEDIセンターが統合され、「JEITAECセンター」が設立されました。その正式名称は、「Electronic Commerce Alliance Logistics Support」で、時折その表記も見かけます。また、このセンターではデータ形式として、「ebXML」というXML/EDIの標準仕様を採用しています。
