「ロングリスト」は、M&Aの取引先として見込まれる、買収先や買い手候補の企業一覧のことを指します。これらは、M&Aにより予測されるシナジー効果を生む企業を対象にし、一覧表にまとめられます。この企業の一覧から、特定の基準や要件によって絞り込まれた最終候補のリストを「ショートリスト」と呼びます。
