NIS2指令（NIS2Directive）は、EUの一員となった国々が抱えるサイバーセキュリティ対策の不均一さを解消し、全体としてのセキュリティレベルを向上させるための法的手段として設けられたものです。この指令は2022年12月に欧州委員会で採択が行われ、2024年10月から効力が発生します。市場内のセキュリティレベルの不一致を是正し、デジタル化の急速な進展に伴って増大するサイバー攻撃に対する脅威にも対応できるよう、法的な規範体系を更新することを主な目指す内容としています。
