ヒープスプレー（HeapSpraying）は、プログラムが使用可能なヒープというメモリ領域に悪意あるコードを配置し、そのプログラムを操作することで攻撃する手段であります。この方法は、一般的にWebブラウザやPDFリーダーなどのユーザーが使用するアプリケーションを介したシステムへのドライブ・バイ攻撃と呼ばれる攻撃形態でよく用いられています。この攻撃の際には、ヒープ領域にスクリプト形式で悪意あるコードを配置し、ターゲットとなるマシンがそれを実行することで攻撃が成立します。’
