PCIDSSは、Payment Card Industry Data Security Standardの略称で、クレジットカード産業の情報セキュリティ標準を表しています。この制度はカード発行の5大企業によって設立されました。対象企業は認定機関から査定を受け、その結果に基づいてPCIDSS認定を取得します。PCIDSSのセキュリティ要件は、システムとネットワーク、データ保護、脆弱性の管理、アクセスの制御、ネットワークの監視、そしてポリシーの維持という6つの役割に分けられています。’
