インベントリとは

「インベントリ」とは、広義においては「在庫」という意味をもつ英語です。同じく「在庫」を表現する英単語として、「ストック：Stock」も存在します。「インベントリ」も「ストック」も、「在庫」を表現する単語ではありますが、限定的な意味では、次のような異なりが見られます。それぞれ、「インベントリ」は資材や材料、途中品を含めた全体の在庫を指し、「ストック」は製品が完成したものに限定された在庫を指します。
