ロシアベースのサイバー犯罪団体、EvilCorpは、別名IndrikSpiderとしても知られています。2007年あるいは2014年から活動を開始し、マルウェアを利用したサイバー攻撃やランサムウェア攻撃の連続を行ってきました。EvilCorpが開発したマルウェア群、たとえばDridex（バンキング型トロイの木馬）、BitPaymerランサムウェア、WastedLockerランサムウェア、Hadesランサムウェアなどがあります。団体の主な面々は、モスクワ在住のハッカーで、過去には情報機関・FSBとの関連性も示唆されています。
