「スキャンライン（ScanLine）は、Foundstone.inc（2004年にMcAfeeによって買収済み）が手がけたWindows向けの無料ポートスキャナーで、コマンドライン・インターフェースを備えています。Pingスキャン、TCPスキャン、UDPスキャンの実行が可能で、攻撃者がネットワークサービスを探知したり、バナーグラビングを行うのに使用されます。怪しげな活動はあらゆる方面から警戒されており、2024年には米国のサイバーセキュリティ機関CISAが、中国系の高度な持続的脅威（APT）グループであるVoltTyphoonからの悪用を特に注意喚起しています。」
