GNU Wget、または一般的にはwgetはWebから各種ファイルを取得可能なフリーソフトウェアです。コマンドラインを利用し、HTTP/SやFTP/Sのプロトコルを通じてファイル収集を行うことができます。その支配的なプラットフォームはUNIX系システムではありますが、現在ではWindowsやMacOS等の幅広いプラットフォームでも利用可能です。ただし、システムがマルウェアに感染した後、追加のマルウェアをダウンロードする状況下において、wgetが悪意ある形で使用される可能性も存在します。’
