「仮説思考」とは、現在手元にある情報を元に、「解答」に最も近づくだろうと想定される仮説を立て、それを検証していく思考法を指します。この仮説は、主に「課題仮説」と「打ち手仮説」の二つに大別できます。「課題仮説」は、今の状況と理想的な状況との間の格差についての仮説です。たとえば、「新規顧客の増加が見られない」という問題に対して「営業担当者の訪問回数が不十分かもしれない」と判断するのが「課題仮説」になります。
