規格料というのは、SS400やSM490A、SM400Bといった各種鋼について、各メーカーが設定する1kg当たりの追加料金（エキストラ）のことを指します。たとえば、高炉品のSS400では規格料として1.3円/kgが標準的な金額となります。一方、SM490A等では板厚に応じて規格料が変わります。鋼材の単価は、基本単価に規格料とエキストラを加えた額で算出されます。’
