時短切れとは

“時短切れ”とは、企業や組織が設ける短時間勤務制度の利用期限が過ぎてしまい、その制度の恩恵を受けることができなくなる状態を指します。組織依存の特例措置として「子供が小学校に入るまで」等の条件緩和があるものの、通常は法改正に従って、「3歳未満の子を育てる労働者」のみが短時間勤務を適用できるとされています。保育園待機児童問題が頻繁に話題になっている昨今、その問題を乗り越えても、「時短切れ」の到来により、保育園の利用が困難になるという状況が発生する場合があります。
