アルムナイとは

「アルムナイ」は、「卒業生」や「同窓生」を指す英語由来の語彙で、人事領域での使用では、組織の退職者やOB・OGを示すように進化しました。特に、定年退職以外で組織を離れた人々をこれに該当します。

現在、企業の間で「アルムナイ制度」が脚光を浴びています。その理由は、かつての日本では終身雇用が一般的であったのに対し、今日では終身雇用制度が衰退し、退職するケースが「定年退職」から、「転職のための離職」に移行しているからです。人材が不足している現状では、組織から離れたかつての従業員、つまり「アルムナイ」とされる人々が、新たな人事資源として見直されています。
