ある商品を外部の製造業者に作製してもらう際、自社が必要なパーツや素材を提供することがあります。これを一般的には「支給」と呼称し、提供するアイテムは「支給品」と称されます。さらに、支給は有償と無償の2種類が存在します。また、支給の方法としては、発注元から直接外部製造業者に製品を移動させる「倉庫支給」や、自社が取引先から支給品を購入し、その取引先から直々に外注業者に送る「直送支給」があります。
