「ディープフェイク」はAIによる深層学習、すなわち「ディープラーニング」を用いて、画像や映像に精巧な偽情報を埋め込み、本物そっくりに見せる一種の攻撃手法です。企業の最高経営責任者（CEO）を模した音声による詐欺電話や、政治家を不適切に操作した偽画像を用いて虚偽の情報を広めるフェイクニュースなど、その具体例が社会問題となっています。
