豚の食肉解体詐欺とは

豚の食肉解体詐欺（PigButcheringScam）、または豚の屠殺詐欺とは、ソーシャルエンジニアリングやロマンス詐欺技巧を駆使した仮想通貨投資の悪質詐欺です。この名称、「豚の食肉解体」（PigButchering）や日本語では豚の屠殺、屠畜などと訳されることもありますが、米国FBIの説明によれば、遠い日本の畜産業界の様子を連想させます。それは、豚を飼育し、肥やし、最後には解体し出荷するという一連の流れと大いに関連しているからです。対象者を長い時間組んで大金をだまし取るという詐欺手法が、この解体出荷の過程に似ているのです。ちなみに、中国語では「ShaZhuPan（杀猪盘）」詐欺と称されています。
