「Magecart」は、電子商取引（EC）サイトを狙い、クレジットカード情報を盗むための一連のサイバー犯罪集団を指す言葉です。一般的には、不正にECサイトを侵入し、悪意のあるコードを埋め込むことで、サイトを利用する顧客のクレジットカード情報を掠め取る手法（Webスキミング）が用いられます。この侵害行為は「Magecart攻撃」とも称されています。Magecartの存在は2015年から確認され、その後も複数のサイバー犯罪組織による攻撃が継続しています。
