Qakbot（別名QbotまたはQuackBot）は、2008年以降確認されているバンキング型のトロイの木馬で、感染したシステムから銀行口座に関連する情報、キー入力、ログイン情報などを盗むという特性を持つマルウェアです。さまざまな種類のランサムウェアが、このQakbotを自分たちのシステム攻撃の装置として使用しています。具体的な例としては、BlackBastaやEgregor等のランサムウェアがこれまでにQakbotの使用を確認されています。また、最終的なランサムウェアの配布の前段階では、CobaltStrikeやBruteRatel等のデュアルユースツールも悪用され、攻撃の手段として利用されます。’
