「人材データベース」は、社員のプロフィールや人事評価、各種スキルなどの情報を一堂に集め、視覚化した資料のことを指します。一部では「人事情報」とも呼ばれ、以前はエクセルや書類で散逸していたデータを整理し、一つの場所で管理することで、他のシステムとの接続や情報の入出力の手間を軽減することが可能となります。近年の少子高齢化の進行により、生産年齢人口が減り、優秀な人材の獲得が困難になる一方で、自社の人材を最大限に活用するためのデータ利用のニーズが急増しています。
