“プラント”とは、製造工場や倉庫といった組織内の単位を指し、ロジスティクスにおける重要な組織構造の一部である。この単位は、会社コードの階層構造における下位レベルに位置し、コード内の適切な場所に保管されます。具体的には、プラントは工場、倉庫、配送センターを象徴し、供給や在庫管理等の企業活動を支える単位として機能します。また、複数のプラントを一つの会社コードに割り当てることも可能です。

プラントは在庫管理や評価において、商品の管理単位と定義されます。ロジスティクスに関連する設定、基本情報（マスタデータ）、実行データ（トランザクションデータ）は全てプラントに依存しています。
