二国間クレジット制度とは

JCM（Joint Crediting Mechanism）とは、日本の先進的な低炭素技術を提携国に広めることで、温室効果ガスを低減し、その効果を両国で共有するシステムを指します。
このクレジットとは、温室効果ガスの削減量や吸収量に基づいてつくられ、他の国との交易を可能とします。
両国間のクレジットシステムにより、日本は途上国に対する資金や技術の提供を通じて生じる温室効果ガスの削減量を、自国の削減枠としてカウントすることが可能となります。これにより、日本の温室効果ガスの削減目標達成が、より確実に進められます。
