M-BOMは、製造工程で管理される部品表のことを指し、ManufacturingBillofMaterialの略称となります。ここで管理される部品表は、開発部門から提供されるE-BOMを元に作られることが通常です。E-BOMとM-BOMの違いは、M-BOMでは製造順序に基づいたアッセンブリ品や、サプライヤーへの注文情報、そして在庫管理の単位といった、製造過程で必要とされる情報が追加されている点にあります。
